CATHOLIC Nigerian Woman's Group is the FIRST of it's kind NATIONWIDE!!

Go, Dallas!
I just read on the Texas Catholic newspaper some very neat news to be proud of:

The Nigeria Catholic Women's Organization, located in the Diocese of Dallas, has become the FIRST of it's kind to be consecrated IN THE UNITED STATES!!!!

Woot!

On Nov. 28th, the Archbishop of Ibadan, Nigeria inaugurated and consecrated the group at St. Monica (been there, love it!) Catholic Church in Dallas, telling them to be stewards of their faith and to emulate the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The group helps support the welfare of ALL Nigerian Catholic residents or visitors in the diocese.

The group will help to form and organize OTHER Nigerian Catholic Women's Organization groups THROUGHOUT THE U.S., organizer's said.

The group meets the last Sunday of EVERY month at St. Monica, located at 9933 Midway Road.  (Nice place!  You'll like the Church!)
