Have you seen the Miraculous Host? Come see!

Welcome to the Burning & Bleeding Host of Betania, Venezuela website. This website was created for one purpose and one purpose only: to show absolute proof in living color by way of a video I took in Los Teques, Venezuela, that our Lord truly exists in the Eucharist, and to erase the doubts of nonbelievers and those weak in faith, as to the true presence.

How to reclaim your privacy by disabling Facebook’s “Open Graph” – Simple Help

How to reclaim your privacy by disabling Facebook’s “Open Graph”

Security

This very brief tutorial will show you how to disable Facebook’s latest “has some privacy issues” service, Open Graph.

I’m not going to write a long-winded explanation of what Open Graph is. You can find a very nice summary of it here. What I will do is show you the steps required to block this new “feature” – which is enabled by default.

  1. First up, sign in to Facebook. From your Account drop-down list, select Privacy Settings.

  2. Click the Applications and Websites link.

  • Click the Edit Setting button in the Instant Personalization section.

  • Remove the check from the box labeled Allow select partners to instantly personalize their features with my public information with I first arrive on their websites

  • When prompted, click the Confirm button.
  • Back at the Applications and Websites section of the Privacy Settings, click the Edit Settings button next to What your friends can share about you

  • Remove the check mark from every single item listed and then click the Save Changes button.

  • You’re almost done. Now you have to disable the 3 initial partners that Facebook is working with. Start out by heading to the Facebook Docs page. On the left side of that page, locate the Block Application link, and click it.
  • Click Block Docs when prompted.
  • Now you’ll need to block two other Facebook apps as well – the Pandora app and the Yelp app.
  • That’s it – you’re done. There’s only one minor problem. Docs, Pandora and Yelp are just the first 3 external sites that have this “shared integration” – more will certainly come in the future. And you’ll want to block those as well. Facebook has an FAQ that will hopefully be updated as new sites are introduced. So you may want to bookmark that page and check it every once in a while.
  • You can make sure you’re up to date on this info and much more like it by joining the Simple Help Facebook Page :)

    Q. “Today 56 newspapers in 45 countries take the unprecedented step of speaking with one voice through a common editorial. We do so because humanity faces a profound emergency.” This was the unprecedented step taken by editors of newspapers around the world on the eve of the Copenhagen Climate Summit in December 2009.

Was this combined effort inspired by the Spiritual Hierarchy? If so, which Master was it? Should we look forward to more such historical occurrences in the coming months?

    A. Yes, Maitreya. This kind of action by groups of people in varied branches of society will increase and take form in the coming months and years. The media is really the mouthpiece of the people reflecting the people’s longing for action to save the planet, and this kind of action will continue in one way or another until that initiative is no longer needed.

    More Scary Maitreya stuff.

Fr Corapi 's "Test" for you!

    Turning the Tide of Evil

An excerpt from Father's latest book, "Letters."

One of the first things I became acutely aware of as I began ministering as a priest was that the vast majority of Catholics have never really learned their faith. For years I administered a simple test at the end of parish missions. The average grade, achieved by adults, was 43%. This failure translates into the ills and evils seen today in contemporary society. Why? For the simple reason that Catholic-Christians are called to be the salt and light of the world. When we fail to do so the world sinks under the weight of its sins. If we do not provide the moral compass to guide the world through dark and turbulent times, no one will.

Learning our faith is a moral mandate. It is not optional. We do it and please God, or we don't do it and don't please God. It isn't rocket science and it doesn't take that great a commitment in time and energy. To fail to do it is to fail in our mission, which is the same as the mission of the Redeemer - Redemption.

There is no opposition between learning and loving. If I love God and my neighbor as myself out of love for God (Charity) then I'll want to know God (Truth). Our ignorance of basic moral and doctrinal teaching is ultimately harmful to ourselves, our families, our Church, our society and our world.

We should make a commitment to study our faith at least 30 minutes per day, 5 days per week - or some comparable program. Read the Catechism of the Catholic Church, which will in turn help you to understand your reading of Sacred Scripture. You should be able to answer the basic moral questions of the day, as well as give simple explanations for the Church's basic doctrinal teaching.

Give yourself this interactive test, which is not an advanced examination, but a very basic one. Any child preparing for Confirmation should be able to earn a grade of at least 80%. Take the exam. Take the exam honestly without looking up the answers, then take appropriate steps to advance in your faith. Click here for the answer key.

    b. Yes, all serious or mortal sins must be confessed unless the priest tells you not to.
    c. No, only those you are comfortable confessing need be confessed.
    d. No, only those sins that actually hurt a person directly must be confessed.

    10. How many Gospels are there in the New Testament currently in use in the Catholic Church?

    a. 6
    b. 4
    c. 3
    d. 26

You should be able to answer these questions easily and without research or a book A minimum grade of 80% would indicate that you're on the right track, but not there yet. 100% is what excellence is about. Make a commitment to learn your faith. Then live what you have learned with perfection. Then we'll be doing something to turn the tide of evil and make the world a better place.

    God bless you,
    Fr. John Corapi

ASIA/PHILIPPINES - Bishop of Basilan issues appeal through Fides, says Cathedral is destroyed, people are terrified; asks for help from Universal Church

Isabela (Agenzia Fides) – "It is terrible. The bomb that exploded yesterday destroyed 70% of the Cathedral of Isabela and is now unsafe for use. Thank God, there were no casualties. Today we celebrated Mass at the Catechetical Center. The faithful are terrified. These terrorist acts seek to make life difficult for Christians and drive them out of Basilan.” This is the dramatic testimony Fides has received from Bishop Martin Jumoad of the Prelature of Isabella, the capital of Basilan Island, in the southernmost part of the Philippines.
Yesterday, there were two terrorist attacks on the island: a bomb hit a government building and another hit the Catholic Cathedral in the city, leaving it severely damaged. Later, there were shots exchanged between terrorists and security forces, resulting in about 15 victims.
"It is the first time we are attacked so directly and with such force.

    Catholic pharmacy shutters in Virginia

    Had a pro-life stance

This is terrible news. We Catholics need to support Catholic pharmacies, doctors, hospitals, etc.

Situated next to a Catholic bookstore, the founders hoped to attract clientele from St. Timothy and St. Veronica, two nearby Catholic parishes totaling 20,000 members. Within five miles were four other booming churches with 30,000 Catholics. And it was situated in the fast-growing Diocese of Arlington with 428,417 adherents.

But regular customers never materialized in great numbers.
