Sidenote:

Wow, it is kind of weird to see that for the most part (besides today and yesterday's post) my sabbatical was 1 exact year to date!!! Wow!!! From Immaculate Conception to Immaculate Conception! I don't think I could have planned that any better! heehee.

I was offline due to health and family issues that had to be dealt with and whenever anything serious comes up, this blog, while always here, will go on the "back burner."  Priorities first. ;-)  But, I'm always here.  I was (and am) still Twittering the entire absensce here and was for the most part on Facebook.  I still replied to and prayed for the prayer requests that came in.  So, feel free to catch me on Twitter if this goes a little quiet (or FB)...or send me a line, but I'm here ;-).

Anyhow, my health things have cleared up and I should be back online posting regulary soon...but not so regularly until after the HOLYdays.

I wish you all a very blessed Advent season!  Jesus IS the REASON for the SEASON. Let's not forget it! Amen.

Sorry for being offline a bit :)

I had many deaths and sicknesses to deal with and have been more "inactive" online.

I have been unable to get to email or blogs, some Twitter but not much.

I am trying now to get back online...I am recovering from double lung bronchitis and my 6 year old had 2 weeks of walking pneumonia with high fevers (got to 106.2 even! yikes).

However, it is the end of year business, so I may be spotty for a tad bit but should be good back in 2012...God Willing, right?!

The feast of the Immaculate Conception reminds us that if God in His mercy and goodness towards mankind can make His Mother Mary immaculate in her being from the time she was conceived, it is also possible that, though our hearts have been tainted by sin, it can be made immaculate again and again through the blood of the seed (Jesus) of Mary. Suggested Format of Fast (Text)

FAST will be from Dawn until 3.00 PM.

Participants can fast from any thing that will allow each to
share in some way in the sacrifice of Our Lord. Fasting from
Food, Television, Speech,Cigarettes or anything else will be
offered for the fast hours on behalf of our priests in the
local, national and Universal Church.

Suggested 3.00 PM Concluding Service

• Eucharistic Adoration -ending at 3.00 PM
