Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe of Naples, who served as prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples from 2001 to 2006, is among those under investigation in an Italian corruption scandal. In 2004, the congregation reportedly sold a building to Pietro Lunardi, then Italy’s minister for infrastructure and transportation, at a price far below market value. The following year, Mr. Lunardi approved the allocation of transporation ministry funds for the restoration of Church property.

Father Anthony Ho Will Pray for you (prayer intentions placed close to sacred relics)

I have a basket with written prayer intentions from the faithful and students in our Archdiocese. If you have prayer intentions, please feel free to send them to me (fatheranthonyho@gmail.com). I will print them and put them into the basket. This basket is placed close to sacred relics, and I pray for these intentions daily.

Also my 3 prayer groups: At the end of our prayer meeting, we pray the Litany of Loreto before sacred relics for those who have asked us to pray for them.

Wow! I never heard of this before this article! Interesting!

No one who knows Justin Kaplan would ever have expected this. A Pulitzer Prize-winning historian with a razor intellect, Mr. Kaplan, 84, became profoundly delirious while hospitalized for pneumonia last year. For hours in the hospital, he said, he imagined despotic aliens, and he struck a nurse and threatened to kill his wife and daughter.

Hello and welcome to this website which is dedicated to spreading devotion to Saint Gabriel of Our Lady of Sorrows. Gabriel is little known in the English speaking world, though his memory is preserved amongst Italian immigrant communities. Saint Gabriel was declared a Saint by His Holiness Benedict XV in 1920. He is patron of young people, students, seminarians, clerics, Italian youth and of the region of Abruzzo in Italy. His feastday is celebrated on February 27th.
