Respectful Petition to NOT approve the blasphemous submitted Super Bowl Commercial called "Feed the Flock"

Pepsi and Doritos offer 5 million dollars to the person who submits the winning commercial for the 2011 Super Bowl.
All submissions are reviewed and 10 finalists will be selected on January 3rd. Then the voting is open to the public on USA Today Ad Meter. As I said, the winner gets 5 million, so big dollars are riding on this contest.
A terribly blasphemous commercial was submitted. It is called "Feed the Flock," and shows a parish where attendance is dropping. The priest decides to distribute Doritos and Pepsi as Holy Communion to bring in the people.
Then weird looking people show up to receive the Holy Eucharist, which is really Pepsi and Doritos!
This mockery of the Body and Blood of Our Lord is outrageous and unacceptable!
Sign the petition to STOP this blasphemous commercial to Pepsi and Doritos

Liberalism Is a Sin," by Don Felix Sarda y Salvany, a priest of Barcelona and editor of a journal called La Revista Popular
In 1886 there appeared in Spain a little work under the title El Liberalismo es Pecado, "Liberalism Is a Sin," by Don Felix Sarda y Salvany, a priest of Barcelona and editor of a journal called La Revista Popular. The book excited considerable commotion. It was vigorously assailed by the Liberals. A Spanish Bishop of a Liberal turn instigated an answer to Dr. Sarda's work by way of another Spanish priest. Both books were sent to Rome, praying the Sacred Congregation of the Index to put Dr. Sarda's work under the ban. The following letter, under date of January 10, 1887, from the Sacred Congregation itself, explains the result of its consideration of the two volumes:

Most Excellent Sir:
The Sacred Congregation of the Index has received the denunciation of the little work bearing the title El Liberalismo es Pecado by Don Felix Sarda y Salvany, a priest of your diocese; the denunciation was accompanied at the same time by another little work, entitled El Proceso del Integrismo, that is, "A refutation of the errors contained in the little work El Liberalismo es Pecado." The author of the second work is D. de Pazos, a canon of the diocese of Vich.
Whereupon, the Sacred Congregation has carefully examined both works and decided as follows:
In the first, not only is nothing found contrary to sound doctrine, but its author, D. Felix Sarda, merits great praise for his exposition and defense of the sound doctrine therein set forth with solidity, order and lucidity, and without personal offense to anyone.
The same judgment, however, cannot be passed on the other work, that by D. de Pazos, for in matter it needs corrections. Moreover, his injurious manner of speaking cannot be approved, for he inveighs rather against the person of D. Sarda than against the latter's supposed errors.
Therefore, the Sacred Congregation has commanded D. de Pazos, admonished by his own Bishop, to withdraw his book, as far as he can, from circulation, and in the future, if any discussion of the subject should arise, to abstain from all expressions personally injurious, according to the precept of true Christian charity; and this all the more since Our Holy Father, Leo XIII, whereas he urgently recommends castigation of error, neither desires nor approves expressions personally injurious, especially when directed against those who are eminent for their doctrine and their piety.
In communicating to you this order of the Sacred Congregation of the Index, that you may be able to make it known to the illustrious priest of your diocese, D. Sarda, for his peace of mind, I pray God to grant you all happiness and prosperity, and subscribe myself with great respect,

The Catholic Church has adopted the power of nine days of prayer in the form of novenas, a popular devotion. I thought this was a nice article because many of us today know the truth and know inside that on some truth we don't wish to recognize...it'd be better "invisible" as if it did not exist, as if God had no word on it....living the life of a hypocrite in some form or fashion...wanting to be Catholic/Christian on our own terms, which is really making ourselves God! :-D Not good. We know better. We want better but sometimes, we can be selfish and want "my will be done" instead of "Thy Will be done"....we need grace to surrender...we, as Catholics, can get that grace through the Sacraments: Mass, Confession,etc. It takes being humble and courageous to come to know your REAL self....because it is then that we see what we need to fix.
Let us love thy neighbor and pray for the conversion of unbelievers daily...and in that prayer, we include ourselves! Yes, those tiny parts or medium or big parts of us that do not believe (as we don't surrender them). :) God bless you.

But I deeply regret to tell you that Our Lady is being blasphemed by an exhibit showing her holding a k n i f e, a g u n, and a handgrenade amid ads for lingerie at the AKA Gallery in Oklahoma City.
According to press reports, "the weapons being held by the Virgin Mary in Artus" art are embroidered in rose or yellow. The artwork also features vintage ads promoting products for women such as lingerie and hair nets.
"For example, one picture of the Virgin Mary holding a pink-embroidered small h a n d g u n is surrounded by sections of a vintage Frederick's of Hollywood lingerie newspaper ad touting the promotion line "Make Her Over to Please You."
This is blasphemy … completely beyond the pale, and deserves your immediate protest and reparation.

Thankfully, local members of America Needs Fatima are speaking out against the blasphemous exhibit and have asked for our prayers and support for their prayerful protest in front of the AKA Gallery.
